Main Event Jacksonville

Visited:: 23Mar25...This review is directed to the food, since it's an arcade, bowling and laser tag place. The guy at the front desk was super helpful being that it was our first time. We were bummed, my girlfriend and her 7 year old son, that this location didn't have the escape room, Roblox, rock wall, mini golf. According to everything I looked for Jacksonville it didn't say at Orlando location. But we still stayed. We played 2 rounds of laser tag which was great with a decent size room. Typical arcade games. The food wasn't great. We ordered "the big stuff" the classic. pizza from any pizza joint was better. The crust was too thick, not a lot of sauce and def not extra cheesy pizza. Pizza was over done. Even the breading on the boneless wings was a lot. We didn't try the cheese bread since it also looked over done. The server was good in getting refills. Won't eat there again but will go again for the fun!

My experience at The Main Event was a decent one. The activities, entertainment, and environment was great. The customer service at the restaurant and at the bar was not so good. It took forever for the waiters/waitresses to take our food order. When our food arrived it was wrong so we had to wait even longer before we could enjoy ourselves with the games. The food was tasty and decently priced. When at the bar ordering drink, some of the bartenders were having private conversations amongst themselves or with customers about personal life events when other customers were waiting to be served. The response of one bartender in particular was "hold on I'll be with you" and went back to having a personal conversation with another customer in front of me. This is not the time for that. Please take my order so I can get back to my fun is how I felt. There was one bartender that was on point. Once I received service from him, I tried my best to make it a point to have him serve me. He was about serving the customer. Making the experience more enjoyable.

For me to spend almost 400/500 dollar to play games .Plus money for the food To adults 2 kids from 7:30/12:30 pm My 3 yr old did not want to used the bathroom the smell was very very terrible both bathrooms ladies bathroom at that I even asked for a manager spoke with her about the condition of the bathrooms I was told they would check it out. Well that never happened so I'm wondering if the employees even wash their hands no toilet paper no paper towels. Real talk I waited two and a half hours for my food which I order when I got in their .They even forgot about my order had to ask around about it. Then when the food was brought out it was overcooked 🍕 pepperoni'ss standing up on their own and crispy paid for bacon no bacon no one should have to encounter such a terrible experience with their food and bathrooms

2 stars because the arcade & laser tag were fun .. but our entire group ate dinner afterwards and it was a complete disaster. We had to wait over an hour for food and was told we had to “wait” for silverware because they didn’t have enough. Lastly, we had to chase down the manager just to find someone who could give us our bill and charge our card. Only go for the play — don’t waste your time with dinner!

Some family friends were moving from the area and we went there with the Father and son. There were five of us in the group and they put us on Lane two. Lane. One had had somebody there previously and nobody ever came to clean up the mess. When we got there we told him to send somebody over to take a food order. Nobody ever came. After waiting 15 minutes I went over and talked to server and asked them to come and take an order. Nobody ever came. After several more minutes I asked another one. They said they'd be right over. Nobody ever came. Finally when we were on our 9th turn another guy showed up and asked if we needed anything. We were about to leave and didn't want to wait another half hour for food so we told him no. Thanks. Nobody ever cleaned up the drinks at the end of our Lane. Nobody ever cleaned up lane one. I don't think we'll be back. There's other bowling facilities out there. The boys had fun bowling.
