7 months agoVery nice park. Small enough that you cannot get lost but large enough you feel like you're in nature. The walk along the river section was amazing. Surprisingly not very busy for an early afternoon on a Saturday with perfect weather. I saw nobody for the 40 minutes I walked around.

a month agoOne of the most serene and natural public parks/attractions around Indianapolis. Sounds of small streams of water and birds make its identity unique. Small, but a must visit nature's spot with your pet!

2 months agoTHIS IS NOT AN OFF-LEASH DOG SPOT!!! It is clearly stated in the front of the park you MUST have your dogs on leash. We have always kept our dog on-leash, even tho they are usually friendly, and there are many irresponsible owners at this park that allow their untrained dogs off-leash with no regard to others. An untrained dog ran up to me and my two dogs from over 100ft away, with no regards to its owners recall. Our dogs were in a perfect sit, and did not engage until the dog reached him and started jumping on him. The owner then attempted to pick a fight over his dog being off leash, when again it is clearly posted at the front of the park they must be restrained. It doesn’t matter how friendly your dog is, have respect for other people trying to enjoy nature with their pups. THIS IS NOT A DOG PARK!!!! This is not just courtesy, or a rule, it is also THE LAW! Will not be returning back, something needs to be done.

2 months agoThis is a beautiful park…..However people need to start leashing their dogs! This park needs to start enforcing this law. They have signs posted, however not a single person followed this rule and dogs were running everywhere. There was an incident today where an irresponsible dog owner had their dog off leash and it sprinted at least 300 ft to our well trained and protective ON LEASH dogs. It was jumping all over our dogs and the owner picked a fight with us!!! It is NOT a dog park. Have your dog on a leash. These people were lucky our dog didn't get defensive and bite their dog!

8 months agoHad a great time my first visit! And I’m sure we all have! So please, BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE..don’t leave no trash. It’s one item. If it’s not yours and you have a trash bag (I learned it’s smart to bring one like bringing dog poo bags), hook us all up, and pick it up. Be safe. Touch grass. Run from a spider. Love y’all.
