2 weeks agoYou would never think this is so close to the city. Absolutely loved it. The trails are great, and you get a little incline. Great scenery, the sheer beauty of this park. I sat down in a couple of the areas. It was extremely peaceful. Plenty of parking, and some people had dogs with them. Check it out.

2 months agoA great park on the hill that is surprisingly quiet despite being so close to 405. Will come here often for a nice walk. Do wish the bathrooms could be open more often though.

4 years agoA great hike for you and your pup!! Definitely very steep & narrow! Most of the time the trail is a one person at a time. I went on a hike today and encountered the friendliest people there! And such lovely dogs(none which were aggressive.) As we are in a time of a pandemic it was nice to see most people complying with the mandatory mask regulation! And if they didn’t have it on as soon as they saw us they would put it on(which is just fine if you ask me!) it’s definitely a good hike to do even if it’s slightly raining but if it was raining a lot previously I don’t recommend going as it could be quite dangerous with the amount of mud and how steep this hike truly is. I think the only cons of this hike was that it is a little bit confusing to get to the trails and parking is very scarce
The One You Hate
a year agoThere's picnic area. The hiking is super short yet super competitive. There's no local restroom and the parking lot level is not so great but it's not bad enough to scrape a small car bottom.

2 years agoI am in town from Texas for work and wanted to hit up some trails around Tigard. There were so many on Google but I'm so glad I settled on these. The walk was so peaceful and there wasn't many people at all when I went. There were so many trees I forgot I was near the city. It smelled so good like the trees filtered out the city smell. I stopped several times to take it all in and the longer I stayed still, the more the forest came alive around me. I could hear the birds and the trees creaking in the wind, it was beautiful. I highly recommend to anyone trying to get a break from society. I went around 5 and walked around until 7, at this time the sun was coming through the trees, it was amazing. I am definitely going to try to come back in the fall, I can't imagine what the colors may look like!
