3 months agoWe enjoyed our experience snow tubing as a family last night. We went on a Thursday evening hoping to avoid crowds. It wasn’t too crowded and we got to go down a total of 11 times in the 90 minute session. I would go back again for a special occasion every other year. We enjoyed the colored lights and how fast the tubes zoomed down the lane! The staff was nice to us and not overly strict. Things we didn’t like were how slow the lift moves to take you to the top (4 min ride) and how expensive the experience was. It was worth it to go once since we have been wanting to, but I wouldn’t pay that amount to go just randomly. Wish it was more affordable. But we did have fun and were safe and you really do go crazy fast down the hill!

3 months agoVery disappointed overall with the tubing adventure we just did there. The slide was a lot of fun, Nice, long run. We got lots of speed, especially with two people going down together. The staff in the clubhouse were helpful. I didn't like that they held us at the gate for a few minutes, then gave us a safety briefing. We didn't actually start our session until almost 10 minutes into it. The worst part though, was the wait. We had to stand in line at the top of the hill for at least 20 minutes every time we went down. That means in our 90 minute session we literally only went down four times. So disappointing. We drove two hours and paid over $500 (there were 12 of us) and we basically spent less than five minutes tubing. The rest of the time was waiting in line. We will not be going back there.

8 months agoWe had a great time with our bigger kids, but our 5yr was not able to do most things. The tubing was awesome & everything is accessible for wheelchairs etc. My parents were able to watch everything. The only draw back is non of the activities are marked with what it's call, requirements (such as height, weight, age) so make sure to read the descriptions very carefully before purchasing your tickets. I purchasing things online for my 5yr that he was unable to try.

4 months agoGoing down the slope was super fun! Unfortunately, it was 30 minutes of standing in line for each 10 second ride. We were there for 70 minutes and went down twice. Due to it being Jan 1, we payed extra, $48 a person. So it cost us each $24 per ride. Outrageous.

8 months agoWe did the ski lifts to the scenic lookout. Start in the general store to check in and get your hand stamped. Then you'll walk over the bridge in the parking lot to get to the chairs. All the staff was nice and likes to engage with tourists to ask them where they're from. The first chair lift is slower and it feels like it takes forever, if you get motion sick, take something before getting on. The second chair lift is faster and a steeper incline. The views are worthing seeing, but they mostly look out at the city. I was hoping for more mountain nature views. Once you get off the second chair lift you will be doing a small amount of climbing and the hills are steep and the gravel slides, so wear appropriate shoes. I was here in Summer but the autumn colors would be amazing to see from this view.
