Maze Rooms Escape Games - West LA

We are a group of three that have done well over 20 escape rooms together and WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GARRETTS will go down as one of our all-time favorites! The game starts out in the Garrett’s 1980s home that has a perfect 80s vintage vibe. There are MORE than a few rooms to navigate and the puzzles are VERY challenging, so go in with a clear head (before happy hour) and ready to think outside the box (or room!). The twist at the end is one of our all time favorites and you won’t be disappointed. We did NOT escape (not even close) yet the staff took pity on us after our huge disappointment and gave us some extra time. We still did not escape! — but had loads of fun. I love this location in West LA since the traffic is not congested and it has a convenient parking lot right outside. So uncommon for an Escape Room in LA!

The Something’s Out There room was amazing! It had a good amount of puzzles, a great theme, and plenty of jump scares. Our game master Andrew was great. He did a fabulous job of setting up the story line and gave us just enough of a hint along the way to help us beat the time.

I have done all the rooms at this location, and it is by far the best escape room location I’ve been to in a while. The puzzles were clever, the animatronics were fun, and the game masters were great.

I did “What Happened To The Garrett’s?” with a group of 2 (just me and 1 friend) and we had a blast! I’ve done many escape rooms, and really enjoyed this one! We “escaped” (completed the room) and had a blast doing it. Perfect for 2 people if you have a little prior experience with escape rooms, fun & interesting puzzles, and a cohesive story with puzzles that are integrated with the overall theme of the room.

my partner and i just played the room, somethings out there, and we had such a great time! our host Andrew K was extremely helpful, sweet, and kind throughout the entire game and helped us navigate our way throughout each puzzle. the room itself was amazing within itself, i don’t even have the words to describe! i would definitely recommend this room/location !
