3 years agoLate summer visit was the perfect day. We began our visit with a picnic at the fountain pond. After lunch, it was a short walk to the museum farm area where turkeys, chickens, sheep, mules/donkeys and pigs were on display. The museum buildings are closed. A semi secluded area with a few picnic tables for seating provided a quiet area to sit and relax. We ended our visit with a short walk through a wooded area, past a hidden pond that led us back to the fountain pond. We had our dog with us. There is plenty of open space to switch to the 50' leash and let him run. But, around the farm, the short leash was a better choice. The farm museum is close the 295 and you'll hear background road noise from it. I recommend a visit here if you have the chance. Especially on less crowded days.

8 months agoVery beautiful park with a lot of history and plenty of space to roam around and get lost in nature. Many events are held here during year, and everyone of them is always well ran and has plenty of parking. The park is very well-maintained and kept to a high standard as you always notice that the grass has cut perfectly and there are no trash items laying around the park Pat seem to take pride in this park and not litter. As for the museum, it is wonderful to visit as it has a rich history, and it has been a staple in the area for many years .

4 years agoEnjoyed walking the shaded trails and the petting zoo. Plenty of space to give others space to walk. The staff were really nice, and told us about how the donkeys were rescues.

7 years agoI always enjoy going here! Great place for dog walks trails and a lake and livestock to view. The playground is off to one corner which creates a nice seperation of kids and adults. Vast fields for any green space activity. Its always interesting getting to walk through history.

5 years agoMeadow Farm/Krump Park is a great example of why Henrico is such a great county. The grounds are beautiful with trails, animals, and a historic home to tour. Our tour guide, Sandy, was absolutely incredible and really made us feel welcome. I think what they do at Meadow Farm Museum is incredibly important, and a must see! Great job Henrico!
