2 months agoIf you're looking for a place to go May 29-31 the Memphis Italian Festival which is usually located at the park right off Park-and Mt. Moriah. My eye doctor who happens Italian invited me to this festival and I had great time. I think you would enjoy it too. A good place to go to be introduced to Italian foods and culture

11 months agoApparently we should have read the first couple of reviews here from last years “festival”. Luckily 2 of 3 from our group had free active duty military entry and we “only” spent $20 for entry. We were at a loss regarding the entry free as it literally only gave you access to the festival. There were maybe 10 vendor booths available to look at. We typically like to support vendors but after feeling like we just got robbed at the ticket stand, were in no mood to spend more money. We walked past the 3-4 food stands that you had to buy tickets for instead of just being able to purchase with cash. They also lost our business. We left the “festival” after about 20 minutes, which was honestly too long to be there and looked for a local Italian restaurant to get some food for lunch. Regular visitors BEWARE! This is geared much more for restaurants competing and probably their families to kill time.

10 months agoSo much fun! Lots of shops to look at and food. My daughter rode the little train and played somw games. But man were there a lot of drunk people, not that I'm complaining, no one I saw was over the top, just wasn't expecting it. 😂

11 months agoNot Impressed. The vendor itailan food was terrible! The alcohol purchase was expensive $8 for beer/seltzer or $7 for a small cup of wine. Other than the craft vendors & live band not worth the $15 entry fee. I'm sure it was only fun for the group attendees with private canopies.
