6 months agoWe loved it. It was great seeing all the different animals skeletons, learning about the unique history of Piggly Wiggly and how the Pink Palace came to be. The dinosaur exhibit was excellent and seeing how massive a Mastodon is was incredible.

9 months agoUnspectacular. There were a few interesting exhibits but not much new. I could see where the only interesting part for a child would be the Space area that's more, hands on. A few of the staff were pretty cool but there were a few that didn't even speak when directly asked a question. Which is beyond rude. I was approached and asked if my name was Shawn by a male personnel, which was weird and completely uncalled-for. The entire museum feels sticky and dirty. I don't think there was a single plate of glass in the entire building that wasn't smudged and a few of the dinosaurs were literally patched up or had skin "hanging" from them. The space area was very small but neat and the pass through ultimately was 2 hours of very unpredictable historical information. One minute it's natural history, then cotton, then Medical. It has no flow whatsoever. I remember some of these same exact set ups from second grade. Hopefully the classrooms and programs are much livelier.

a week agoMe and my husband went here with our 9month old on our vacation. Me and my husband had gone here a few years ago and were excited about visiting again with our baby. BUT when we arrived the AC was out but we were so excited so we paid the 43.00. Sadly the exhibits were not well attended or updated at all. Dust everywhere, the animatronics were out of order, the figures weren’t properly maintained, the kid section about saving the planet was full of literal trash and contradicted the very message it was sending about plastics, man made fabrics and littering, and the mansion portion was closed for an event (we were not told that before buying tickets). Very disappointed. Not worth admission at all. So disappointed. We won’t visit again. 😢

5 months agoAwesome side trip that turned into a family day out. A lot to see in due. The 3D movie was especially fun.

9 months agoA great way to spend the day out of the heat. The exhibits are impressive, there is a planetarium and Imax, and there is something for everyone to learn and enjoy during every visit. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job and providing a great experience.
