2 months agoWhat a great museum. It was not busy when we went , almost had the entire place to ourselves. Video rooms along with lots of memorabilia and a great history of music in the local area. Priced well and friendly enough staff

6 months agoLots of exhibits and fun things to look at. This is a self guided tour with an MP3 player, so you are able to replay the exhibits and they also have music that you can tune into and listen to. Neat!

8 months agoWent on a Wednesday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all. The attendants were friendly and helpful. You don't need to buy your tickets in advance. It's a self guided tour and they give you headphones and a recorder at the beginning. I think if you're a soul and rock music fan this tour will be for you. There's plenty of artifacts and history on display. You get to hear music from the different eras of music. Overall a nice tour and a good way to kill some time.

11 months agoGreat museum for music lovers. So much information is given on self guided tours. It looks like they are expanding, but this did not affect the enjoyment or ambience of the place. You can listen to hits from way back and not too expensive admission. It comes under the Smithsonian umbrella for a nice change, the gift shop is not larger than the actual exhibition

a year agoFor the price of an adult ticket, this place is a bargain and full of incredible information and artifacts of decades ago. If you take your time and listen to the exhibits information via the provided headphones, this place paints a wonderful picture of music history. They have a lot of original sound equipment used by rock ‘n’ roll Pioneers.
