6 months agoMempho Music Festival is a hidden gem that won’t stay hidden for much longer. A relatively new festival, you would expect it be a leap of faith for the organizers of the event. But that’s not the case here. Or if it is, you certainly cannot tell because this is the epitome of a festival that goes all out in terms of fan experience and lineups every year. And this year did not differ. From the silent disco to the delicious food trucks to the merch stands, the fan experience is at the forefront. It’s clear to see this festival is run by fellow music lovers. This year’s lineup included Marcus King, Goose (who brought out Cory Wong mid set), Cody Jinks, The Roots, Trey Anastasio, All Them Witches, Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, The Kills, Sublime with Rome, finishing with the Jack White as the Sunday headliner. This festival has something for everyone. The Botanic Gardens is a beautiful venue and Mempho Presents keeps killing it here in Memphis.

6 months agoMempho festival is a gem. You can tell it is run by music fans, because it is obvious that the fan experience comes first. Each year new things are added to the festival that makes it better than the year before. Staff is nice and acts like they want you to be there, we are lucky to have Mempho, and all the other amazing events thrown by Mempho presents! Keep up the good work!!

6 months agoThis is what Memphis has wanted for as long as I can remember. Mempho has become a homecoming for so many residents and the friends that moved away. I always know I’m going to run into more friends than I can count. The group of people running the event act as a village or small community and it’s a sight to see. Even the artist make comments about how well the event is planned. I love it!

7 months agoRidiculous security policy that is not at all enforced by everyone, not allowed in 3rd day at all after going Friday and Saturday with my personal camera because a security guard wanted to have a power trip. No accommodation whatsoever for the inconvenience. This is Memphis, we don't have the privilege of keeping our personal belongings in our car. Will never attend again.
