There’s a new park in town and it’s pretty nice. There are two large soccer fields and ample parking. There is a castle themed play structure with one slide but it doesn’t have traditional monkey bars or anything. There is a cargo net and lots of other cool spots to play. It is shaded and they have a foam type bottom. There are two traditional swings and a saucer but no bucket swings. The structure isn’t toddler friendly. My 3.5 year old navigated it well. Most of my children’s interest was on a circular merry go round type toy. There’s a xylophone and drum section. They have two garden areas and a wooded area. Beware that the circle wood chunks do move and aren’t bolted down. The play structure and swings are SHADED! So with the sun in the right spot, there’s plenty of shade. Also the whole area is gated! There is a bench inside the gate but I just plopped down on the ground. There is sand and very small rocks in the garden area so watch small children. Some of them were transferred to the play structure. I will say that the playground is fairly small so it may get crowded on busier days. There were few people there when we went so it was nice. Overall I’d say it’s best for children 3-10ish and more fun with friends!

Fully fenced in playground with climbing structure, swings and natural play areas. Full bathrooms and shelter with picnic tables. No baby swings and the structure is not the best for 0-3yr olds. But it’s a really cool spot that was much needed! Soccer fields, sidewalks, e-vehicle charging stations. Not sure if the soccer fields will be unlocked full time for the summer. Mostly locked.

It’s a nice park it has a spot for kids to play, bathrooms, and the soccer fields, but…if you going for the soccer fields just don’t go, you going to waste your time it’s always closed and if you try and play in corner when it’s open they will just kick you out, and there’s no point of jumping there’s Karen’s and Daren’s keeping watch and calling the cops, (just in advance before you decide to jump the fence), in conclusion just don’t go it’s never open either ways, just go to twin lakes 😭

It is a new park with a shelter, playground area, soccer field, and so much more. DPR is also developing the old Wheels skating rink into a Waterpark. That's right across the street from this park. This area is definitely changing for the better.

Grateful for shady areas, pollinator garden and ergonomic playground features. Restrooms had no soap and water fountains were cut off even in June, but the restrooms have a full-length mirror!
