Metropolitan Farms is an incredible urban farm with so much to offer. Their energy is awesome and their work is inspiring. The farm generously opened its doors to our high school students and gave them a great hands on tour of their facility. Our students left with a new found knowledge of where our food comes from and motivated many of them to start their own gardens at home. Go check them out and show your support!

Walked there with our Orr students through the Greencorps Youth Program and loved it! Fresh fruits and veggies, lots of fish, and great lessons on aquaponics. Really looking forward to keeping in touch and coming back

Really awesome set up. Their fish are fed by catch (other fish that get caught in nets and aren't the target fish) and veggies. Have delicious pesto and amazing basil plants. Try the tour on Saturdays. It was very interesting to learn about.

Visited the farm last week and had an amazing time! We got to learn of the intricacies that go into aquaponic growth and even had a hands on experience with cutting basil. There was a wide variety of herbs and veggies, and we even got to take some home. Thank you Treana for your expertise and the fun tour!
