2 years agoGreat place to put your kayaks in the river. Easy access. Can pull down the hill to the barge to unload. Was about three miles to the city. We stayed to the right at herrs island. Very calm no wake water.

2 years agoWe always come here when we want to ride our bikes along the North Shore. It’s an excellent place to park for access to the North Shore if you want to run, walk or ride your bike there. It’s about 2 miles from the parking lot to the North Shore. There’s so much to see on the North Shore and thus park is a great place to start from.

a year agoI usually prefer a hike in the woods. But when I'm in the mood for a change of scenery, this is one of my go tos. Some nice spots to stop and take in a nice view of the city. Be wary of the geese lol. Also, wear sunscreen as it is mostly open with few shady spots.
