2 weeks agoGreat museum with broad topics to explore. We enjoyed seeing the fossils, cultural exhibits, planet/dinosaur exhibits, Native American scenes, and more! Particularly loved “Old Milwaukee!” We were there for a few hours and while we saw a number of exhibits, did not fully digest them. Plan on return trips! There’s also a theater which looks cool. Great museum!

a month agoWe took our boys here a few weeks ago, and it was a blast. The boys thought the butterfly exhibit was awesome. My favorite part has always been the streets of Milwaukee. The wife really enjoyed the Egyptian exhibits. I have had a lot of great memories there since I was a kid. The Imax was great. We saw T-Rex, and the constellations shows. Great family fun!

a month agoOur friends are current members so I think(?) we got to visit for free?! Otherwise they were pretty sly about paying for our tickets lol. Visiting from Chicago for the weekend. Multi-level museum with so much to explore; we made it through to the 3rd floor before calling it quits & thank goodness because my feet were hurting! Really cool place & lots to learn about no matter which section(s) you check out.

3 months agoI've been going to this museum for over 35 years. I always love my visits. The butterfly room is so much fun! There are escalators, stairs or elevators so each floor is easily accessible for everybody. The parking garage made it easy to park and enter the building. The rattlesnake is operated by a hidden switch. Try to find it

3 weeks agoFour stars because the food was excessively expensive. I know they need to make money, but $5 for a small thing of fruit and $4.50 for a "medium-sized" bottle of juice is outrageous. The smash burger is $10, and that at least was worth it. Pizza was actually stale. Pretzels were overdone. The entry fee for an adult is $25, which isn't too bad. Parking, we paid $13 for the garage attached to the museum, which again isn't bad. The butterfly room is my favorite place, I wish the room was bigger for those beauties.
