a year agoThe paddling trail is a many-mile stretch of the river we with many pools connected with races so kayaks may slip downstream one pool to the next. An expert and energetic kayaker might paddle up the races but it would be an exemplary feat. The pools have landing for fording the races and dam too. The pools are 1/8 to 1/2 mile in length.

5 years agoThis particular access point is a little awkward to get to since it's down the Riverwalk a bit but it does give you very easy access to the water and it's a good place to stop and take a break or fish. The paddling trail itself is great so check out all the other access points throughout the area.

5 years agoFloat your own boat...canoe, raft, or your other conveyance. Shallow waters though. Perfect for a lazy afternoon or morning. Some days you will not see another soul. Sole?
