a year agoOne of the hikes on mine and my 3 kids summer hiking list. Had some pretty cool animals, very peaceful on the trails surrounded my huge trees. We loved the educational plaques along the trails too!

6 years agoVery peaceful nature reserve. Great for hikes with the family great for animal sightings.they have a very Educational tour for small,or large groups alike. Great place to learn about different species of plants and also the culture who introduced them to the territory........

8 months agoThis is a sweet little spot in the middle of the city. There are bathrooms, a nice playground and plenty of shade. Parking isn’t ample but it’s also not limited to just a handful of spots. The parks department is frequently there which helps it to feel safe. There is also a pavilion.

11 months agofor how small it is, it’s surprisingly easy to get the feeling of a forest. however, the reality of the size is still apparent after a walk or two through - anyone calling this a ‘hike’ is being charitable at best. The nature center is a fun addition, but I can never seem to remember when it’s open.
