2 weeks agoIt's amazing just how much your mind can play tricks on you. As we went through I was more and more amazed. Asking myself things like "is that what I really see or is this truly hapoening?" One of the exhibits had me grasping the handrails in order to not fall down, even though nothing was moving to force me to fall except a cylinder going round me. It must be experienced to be fully enjoyed.

2 weeks agoWasn’t too much fun, it was something to do - not bad tho. Just boring as much of this we see online, it kind of kills the $36 adult admission fee. It’s a cool idea, they should include more rooms such as the tiny/small person depending on the camera etc and the walk thru with the space surrounding it. Staff was nice.

3 months agoAn awesome and super fun one of a kind 5 star experience! If you love illusions and doing something different this is a great museum to visit. There are numerous exhibits to view and experience. Many of the exhibits are interactive which adds to the fun. There are plenty of staff members to assist with photo ops as well as puzzles and games to work and play. The unique thing about this museum, besides the terrific photos you can take, is that there’s something for all ages as well as an informative and helpful staff to help guide your enjoyment of the illusions. Cool gift shop too. Parking tip: if you can park on the street using the parking app it’s way cheaper than parking in the garage.

a month agoThe employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. The exhibit was a bit lackluster though to be honest. My daughter had been to the one in San Antonio and it was larger and even had a bar & food. The time spent at the Charlotte location was maybe 40 minutes and that's being generous. For $62 for 2 people, I'd say that's a horrible value, unfortunately. I would recommend this museum to parents with younger children, but for adults, I'd pass.

a month agoThe best museum ever! This is my first time coming and I will be going back! If you're a nerd, love art, brain teasers, or puzzles this is the place for you. A family, kid-friendly, service dog, first date, friends outing you name adventure. There are great things to do in this illusion museum. I even bought a souvenir, it's a stress ball brain: the stress ball is a brain! It's great for anyone with ADHD, or even anyone who has sensory displays or needs! The vortex room is my absolute favorite! It is such a great way to be fun, and interactive, and let the illusions begin!
