A Captivating Experience for All Ages! I recently visited Museum of Illusions in Philadelphia with my two boys (ages 9 and 12), and we all had an absolute blast! This museum is a gem—filled with mind-bending exhibits that are as educational as they are entertaining. We spent about 45 minutes, which felt like the perfect amount of time to truly engage with the displays, take photos, and read through the fascinating explanations behind each illusion. You could stay longer, but 45 minutes struck a nice balance between fun and focus. What stood out most to me was how appealing the experience was for all of us—kids and adults alike. Every exhibit is hands-on, interactive, and photogenic, offering plenty of clever photo ops that make your visit both memorable and share-worthy. Another huge plus: the staff were attentive and helpful. Whenever we had a question or needed a nudge in the right direction, someone was nearby and ready to assist with a smile. 💡 Pro Tip: I highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance. We were lucky to have done so, because when we arrived, walk-in tickets were already sold out. If you're looking for something fun, smart, and family-friendly, The Museum of Illusions is a fantastic pick!

I had a great time! I'm 31 and went with my 59 yr old friend and we both had a blast. Would recommend getting tickets in advance to make entry smooth, and don't go during a peak time if possible. (See below) There are a lot of kiddos around so if you have personal space requirements, go in understanding a kid might back into you looking at an exhibit 🌻

Came today with a group of 4 adults and two kids. I accidentally only purchased ahead for two adults and two kids (we had a whole extended family day planned). I didn’t realize my own hiccup until I arrived. The front desk staff were able to work their magic so that I could purchase two additional adult tickets on the spot although space was limited. They truly saved the day. I don’t remember their names but I truly hope that they are able to see this review and understand how kind they were to me and my family. One had short hair and glasses and one had longer hair and red lipstick (I’m sorry that’s all I remember). They were also SUPER kind and accommodating because part of our family group was extremely late because they are not from the city and had trouble finding parking. Again, I couldn’t thank them enough for their awesome customer service. MOI Philly, PLEASE be sure to commend your staff that was working the front desk on Jan 10 at 2pm. Also, we had a great time!!!! Such a fun experience!
