5 months agoThis place was AWESOME! Dinosaurs, a cave to go through, sea creature breakdown, walking through a glacier area and Apollo mission info, we even got our faces on a spacesuit emailed to us! I’m a 40 something big kid and loved it, wish I had the grands with us because they would have had a blast. I recommend for everyone!

10 months agoWow, this museum is fantastic and simply one of my favorite museums I’ve ever visited. It blows the Met out of the water in my opinion. At no point were we ever bored, each exhibit had something to pull you in and interest you! Particularly, I felt this was one of the more immersive museums. Really wanted to do Pompeii, but we didn’t make it today.

a year agoHad an absolutely wonderful visit to the museum to see the Pompeii special exhibit. The is a beautiful building with lots of options (I believe two museums and an iMAX theater in addition to the feature exhibit space. There are also spots to grab a bit on the ground and first floor and a gift shop with a wide selection. The Pompeii exhibit was excellent. The crowd was well controlled, good context for the individual items on display, and some great multimedia exhibits. Very well done and well worth the drive to get there. Certainly looking forward to getting back there again. Spend some time in the main entry viewing the wall frescoes and seeing the history of the building. The main lobby was originally a taxi drop-off space for people riding the train when it was the train station.
