a year agoI went on an explore of downtown Pleasanton buildings history. The woman that lead the tour was great. It was a 2 hour tour. After the tour I went into the museum.

5 years agoCute little museum in the middle of Downtown Pleasanton. Decided to take a look while here and found 2 rooms of local history, a kids play area, and a gift shop. The best museums are always interactive so I was pleased to find this had many interactive bits to it including a fun game in the kids area where you could make your own 1895 Pleasanton character. Bought a couple things in the gift shop before heading out.

4 years agoNice little free museum. It has one permanent exhibition about the history of Pleasanton and a photo exhibition that apparently always change. Probably not worth a very long trip to visit it, but a no-brainer for people in the Dublin-Pleasanton-Livermore area.

a year agoI recently had the pleasure of visiting the Museum in Pleasanton, California, and it was a delightful experience. Housed in a charming, small building nestled in the heart of Pleasanton's downtown area, the museum is a hidden gem that offers a fascinating glimpse into the rich history of the city and the remarkable individuals who played a pivotal role in its founding. One of the highlights of my visit was the special exhibition commemorating the 100-year anniversary of Amador Valley High School. The exhibition provided an insightful journey through time, showcasing how the school has left an indelible mark on the community over the past century. It was truly inspiring to see how the school's history intertwined with the growth and development of Pleasanton. Overall, my visit to the Pleasanton Museum was both informative and enjoyable. It's a testament to the city's commitment to preserving its heritage and sharing it with visitors like myself. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend taking some time to explore this museum and discover the captivating history of Pleasanton, California.
