4 years agoReally nice hiking trails for being smack dab in the middle of a highly populated area. Even got lost at one point, so there is plenty of space. Not too many people on the trails. The most difficult parts of the trail would be considered extremely simple for most real hikers, but if you just want to be surrounded by nature or get a good view of the city, this is an excellent spot.

5 years agoLiving the city life wishing for hiking trails without having to travel an hour to get to one? We were so pleasantly surprised by the sense of remoteness of the trails. There are many trails, all levels of difficulty, and are well maintained!

a week agoLived below "the foot" for over 40 years. We called it "Unis', and it only looks more beautiful after the restoration work.

4 years agoCan’t find many good hiking spots near Providence, but this is one of them. There’s plenty of trails to explore, ranging in difficulty to accommodate all. There’s also a ton of overlooks with a great view of downtown Providence. I went here in the winter, and while it was nice that I was one of, if not the only person there, it was also quite icy in some spots. Can’t wait to check this place out once it warms up!
