New Orleans Kayak Swamp Tours

I had the most fantastic 4 hour tour of the Manchac swamp with Alex. The pick up and transportation to the swamp was convenient and comfortable and included a stop for bathroom and snacks before and after our 4 hours on the water. We got our choice of single or double kayaks and got to paddle at our own pace and take our time to take photos and enjoy the stunning scenery. Unlike other kayaks I’ve been in, these actually had room to store backpacks and gear without anything getting wet, which was awesome. We saw so many alligators, at least 15-20 and explored different areas of the swamp. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New Orleans, just be prepared and bring lots of sunscreen!

The tour was well-organized, relaxed, and full of fascinating insights about the local ecosystem, history, and wildlife. Alex was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely passionate about the area. He made everyone feel comfortable, no matter their skill level, and added a fun, personal touch to the whole experience. We saw all kinds of wildlife, from birds to turtles and even a few curious gators from a safe distance. The scenery was absolutely stunning—peaceful, lush, and unlike anything I’ve ever paddled through. If you're visiting New Orleans and looking for something unique, adventurous, and immersive in nature, this kayaking tour is a must-do. Huge thanks to Alex for making it such a memorable!

Great Tour! We saw sooo many Gators. We Had time to explore ob our own still close to the group. Our group was pretty big, but that wasnt an issue at all. As long aß everyone keeps the paddle pace, you can still See a Lot, even If its a bigger group. :)

Our guide Ryan was very knowledgeable and we wouldn’t have wanted a different person to show us all throughout the swamp. It was an amazing experience and regardless of what people say about being scared of the alligators, they don’t bother you at all and it was so surreal. Would do it again 10/10 times

Transport to kayak launch was easy and on time. Our guide was a great conversationalist and gave us interesting insights. His ecological background added wonderful context to the trip. The trip was very respectful of nature and the animals we encountered along the way. Fun afternoon!
