New Tampa Family YMCA

I love this gym. The kids club and youth zone are fantastic and the staff are amazing. The front desk is always happy to see you, and you can tell they really love their job. Also, Orlando the custodian does a wonderful job. I’ve never seen cleaner bathrooms than this :)

Clean, good Zumba and yoga - love the pool!

I love the YMCA at Tampa palms. They cater to seniors. I like the swimming classes and the floor exercise classes which are geared for senior abilities. I am also grateful that the classes are not early in the morning since I am not an early riser. They've started a new activity called chair volleyball, loads of fun!

I will continue to refer families to the New Tampa YMCA basketball program. Coach Maurice is a phenomenal leader that provides leadership and development with positive reinforcement to the kids. He gives 110%, sincerely cares about each child, remains patient, calm, positive, fair, humble, and does not practice favoritism. Coach Maurice is an effective and efficient communicator with the parents and goes above and beyond for team and parents. My only complaint is that Coach hasn’t moved up to the older age groups as the kids grow. lol Eammon (director) really cares about the families and their experience at the New Tampa YMCA. He is humble, polite, and is always pleasant. No matter what happens in his day he greets you with a smile. I feel a sense of safeness when Eammon is there. I hope these two gentlemen remain with the YMCA for at least the next 15 years because they are both so impactful to so many families.

Its okay, I only go for the pool. The pool is so freaking disgusting!!! Its so dirty with sand, bandaids, gunk and more. Ive been asking for almost a year now if theyre going to replace the vacuum and its always “oh the part hasnt come in yet , but still a year later and its still the same. Literally not worth your money! Go to a gym that cares about the WHOLE facility!
