New York Botanical Garden

We went to the holiday train show last night. It's truly incredible, that all the buildings are made of plant parts. The details and accuracy is astounding. Allow yourselves an hour and a half to wander through. Access to the rest of the garden is included

Beautiful scenery on a beautiful day. There is a lot of walking involved if you want to see the entire place. They have trams available as well. Good for kids and they also have special events for holidays. The prices will range depending on the activities you plan on doing. You can buy tickets in advance or at the gate.

Had a lovely time at the holiday train show. The buildings and bridges and trains were magical as always. Spent around 3 hours there including lunch at the cafe and walking around the grounds.

Tram ride was great. Flowers and trees are well-kept. Food in the Pine Tree cafe was pretty good. Grounds are too large to walk in 1 day.

What a lovely garden! Nice trails , the river and the flowers . It depends on the season you are going. I have been here at the end of March. The trees weren't in full bloom yet . The conservatory is amazing and the largest I have seen so far. Try to see that orchids show is amazing! They have a gift shop pretty well stocked.
