North Beckley Paddling Access

Beautiful lakes, and great views of Floyd's Fork! Hiking trails very well maintained!

Really nice spot! I take my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever out here all the time for a swim!

Easy access to the river, beautiful scenery, and the access points are well labeled with signs (for both drivers on the road and boaters on the water). Just make sure the water is >90 CFS when you canoe/kayak, or you'll drag on the bottom frequently.

I did not dislike it , PRETTY rough area, a tad of grading at the creek access would be nice especially for young kids to wade in the very shallow water and throw rocks, i love the Park and the creek but the canoe launching and exiting sites are tricky,, after you get to the water your ok but i have seen some pretty rough falls there especially for novice canoeing... just my opinion..

He's on his gravel bike and I hiked, love this area! Had coffee and snacks at JW bakery and cafe before we got here.
