3 months agoOne of our favorite parks in the Woodlands. Kid friendly, well maintained and plenty to do. Friendly but non aggressive ducks and geese. Good structures for kids of all ages to climb. Best of all a magnificent view of the water.

4 months agoBest park I’ve been to! Plenty of free space to take a stroll, you can fish, there’s a nice playground for the kiddos, and the ducks are just so cute!

3 months agoLongtime residents stated that Lake Woodlands is known for Bass, Catfish, Crappie and Perch, just need to figure out or know what type of bait or fishing lure to use. Or which spot you favor over the Inlets, Panther Creek (runs under Research bridge) or Spillway near Woodlands Parkway. Friendly reminder whenever you're out boating/kayaking don't throw your trash (beer/coke/water bottles/cans in the water)! Remember to leave no trace while enjoying a day on the water with family and friends 😊. Building a venue of some sort across the way from the park area and rowing club. The Woodlands Township Committee Group needs to build another boat ramp for the fisherman, kayakers, and paddle boarders to enjoy a weekend on the Lake. Without interfering with planned events at North Shore with limited parking area (cars and pickups with boat and kayak trailers). Pretty soon this area will not be a fishing, kayakers paradise or wild life sanctuary for sight seeing with all the buildings being built! Lots of places to jog, ride a bike or walk your dog on the surrounding trails that wind around North and South Shore Park. I enjoy kayaking in this area because I'm able to see the Blue Heron, Canadian/Peeking Geese, Great Egret, Ibis, Brown/White Pelicans, Ring-billed Gull and Sandpipers who frequent the Lake shores along the way to the Dragon 🐲 at South shore park.

6 months agoThey have a nice playground area covered with a fence for security. They have a large parking lot. I like that they have trails and sidewalk to walk around. The park is right by Lake Woodlands, so it has a great view of the lake. We went on a very hot day. It is better to go after 7 pm during the summer months when there is shade and the sun is down.
