Old McMicky's Farm

We visited Old McMicky's Farm for a recent Easter event. We had a wonderful time there. The grounds are well kept and the restrooms were spacious and clean. My granddaughter had a great time in the bounce house and egg hunt. Everything was very well organized. There were a variety of vendors, from food to family fun event planning and even face painting. We also enjoyed being able to wrap up our visit with taking a picture with the Easter bunny. Thank you Old McMicky's for a great family fun day. And thank you Corbit, the donkey, and the resident turkey for entertaining my 4 year old granddaughter. She certainly has not stopped talking about you two. 😁

My first time at this farm was for a birthday party for my son. He loved it!! This property is so gorgeous and well maintained. I was told the walkways they had were a new addition but it was very easily walkable and the kids loved it. Definitely a great place for a party. Also the wedding venue area looked beautiful as well. Definitely worth checking out 👍🏼

We always wanted to visit this farm and we finally got a chance to. What a beautiful property. Farmer Zee was so friendly and knowledgeable. She really made the tour fascinating. The animals were so adorable and accommodating:) We will definitely visit again.

We had an amazing time at Old McMicky's farm! My son and daughter got to ride horses and we all milked a cow. We got to hold chickens and pet goats and donkeys! Our guide was so kind and helpful! It was a great trip, we will be back soon!

I’m overwhelmed to see so many positive reviews and I truly wish my experience would have been the same. For context, it’s taken me a few years to decide whether or not to post this review and it’s left such a bitter taste in my mouth that until this day I haven’t forgotten to come back and share my personal opinion and experience. Based on advertising materials and their website, this farm seemed perfect for our son’s first birthday party. We were truly excited to see him enjoy his birthday with family and friends. First, they gave him a shirt that says he got to milk a cow at Old McMickey’s farm which is not true. In fact the only animal he was able to pet was a bunny and ONE 20 second lap on a pony. This is literally everything my son was able to experience. When they tell you your party’s end time is 2pm. You should really plan to be done by 1:30pm because within 10 minutes before our party ended the manager/owner (Older lady managing the place) came to us 3 times to make sure we were packing up. When 2pm came around she stood around the party and escorted everyone out. I threw my son a second party at our house because although he was only turning 1 and didn’t know what was going on, we knew and I felt terrible. I truly felt unwanted there. Our guide was the only helpful person but even she apologized for all the things we weren’t allowed to do. It almost seems like she knew other parties were entitled to more than us and felt horrible. Im jealous, I truly am, of everyone giving 5 star reviews. I don’t like to give negative responses to small businesses but this was my personal experience and I encourage everyone to educate themselves on what they’re paying for before you plan anything.
