Our experience renting a kayak from here to visit Raccoon Island was enjoyable, and our four-year-old had a blast! We brought some fresh fruit for the raccoons, which they loved. Although the beach had a rocky shore and deep water, making it less suitable for playing, the overall adventure was worth it. What stood out was the exceptional service we received – they were quick, professional, and incredibly friendly. They provided all the necessary information to make our trip safe and memorable. I highly recommend this place for your kayak rental needs!

I visited Raccoon Island, and overall, it was a great experience! The staff at Oleta were very kind and welcoming, and the area around the center was spotless. However, the island itself was quite crowded with boats, loud music, and some litter (which I suppose is both a human and raccoon issue). The raccoons were friendly and entertaining to feed, making the visit memorable! I paid 50$ for renting a kayak 2,5h

Loved the place. It has everything for family fun. Great bike trails, awesome kayaking and beautiful crystal clear beach. I was surprised that after living in South Florida for so long I never knew about this place before today. We had a blast

I am a local and decided to give kayaking a try. The whole process was super simple and the staff was very helpful. It was a great experience and I definitely recommend this place. They also have lots of other activities like bike/walk trails, paddle boarding, and camping.. which I will soon be experiencing.

Enjoyed my tour, overall. Had a hard time hearing the guide as he was in front and the paddles splashing made it difficult. The time spent on Racoon Island was a bit underwhelming but ok. Things I wish I had known beforehand- 1. There is a small locker included with a tour and option to rent others. 2. If using Uber/Lyft make sure to reset the pin to the outdoor center. The address will take you only to the entrance and it's a 20 minute walk into the park. 3. Snacks are available but food is only available from a food truck that was not open.
