4 months agoFantastic spot on the Charles River Walk, beautiful quiet park with well maintained trails, not very crowded.

a month agoLovely neighborhood gem of a park. A true Olmsted master piece. Easy, paved trail along pockets of waterways that transport you out of the hustle amd bustle of the city without leaving the city. Great spot to get your steps in (and your dog's!)

2 years agoA lovely park with a walking trail and a pond. There were a lot of geese and ducks. A beautifully tranquil nature spot right in the heart of the city. You can find nearby granite stairs tucked away throughout the park. The trails are only for hiking, and dogs are welcome. Mountain biking is prohibited. It is about a 20-minute walk to Jamaica Pond, so you can see both sights in one day. I would not recommend walking at night because there are no lights.

2 years agoRunning and dog walking through Olmsted Park is a dream. It connects to the others parks that make up the emerald necklace and includes paved and unpaved trails. The best time to visit in the fall when the leaves start changing. Hardly a need to leave the city to enjoy the foliage when Olmsted is your backyard!

7 years agoThis is our favorite part of JP. The trails are beautiful, easy for anyone to do, but diverse enough to keep things interesting even after we've come here nearly every day for the last 5 months. Lots of dogs come here and the majority are friendly, but please be aware that some are not, so your recall with your dog(s) needs to be extremely well to be safe--otherwise, just leash them. It is our favorite spot any time of the year!
