2 weeks agoWe've been here twice, and both times my kids had a great time. My 1 and 3 year old especially loved the water table (definitely bring a full change of clothes, because all kids are drawn to water), and I liked the reasonably priced and delicious food!

a year agoOntario Play & Cafe is the most amazing place to take your child to run and play. The facility is 14,000 square feet of space. It is clean, beautiful, and has very safe climbing and playing equipment. There are large very unique playground types of equipment, and scientifically inclined and exploratory stains as well. There is a very large water table area with raincoats for water play and exploration. Fun for all ages (even adults). There is a sand/ stone table with all types of construction play vehicles such as dump trucks, excavators etc where kids can play and reenact the jobs of these types of vehicles. You are able to pack your own lunches , snacks and drinks in or you can purchase items from the snack bar for extremely reasonable prices. A large bowl of Mac and cheese ( homemade with white mild cheddar sauce) is enough for two people! Drinks are $1.00 or $1.50 which is unheard of any more. The entrance fee for a child up till age 12 is $15 for the day Anyone 13 or over goes in for free! There are plenty of booths for adults to hang in while monitoring their child or to take a break. You should always move with your child so they are in your eye sight and enjoy watching them having so much fun. They may need your assistance so don't be distracted in your phone. My granddaughter played for 4.5 hours. She absolutely loved it! She made friends, problem solved, grew in social skills and physical endurance. It was the greatest rainy activity you could ever take your child to. Kudos to the owners and workers of Ontario Play and Cafe. This is such a special and beautiful play place.

11 months agoI was there for a birthday! Is nice for winter time or if the weather is not has nice out! They only have a very small area designated for under 2yr old and if your under 2 is like mine, all full of energy and runs everywhere from one end to the other is not ideal. Specially with a big swing in the middle of the play ground that will knock down your toddler unconscious if it been used. Another thing is, that some areas and toys needed a good clean (like the blue foam blocks) and updating to look presentable for a business kind a place. I was not hosting but notice the pizza slices are about 1.5-2 inch (wide) will be more like a snack than feeding your guest. It is nice that after the party people can stay if desired. Notice when I left that even when it hard for a short child to unlock the main door to talk out, there was none at the front desk.

2 weeks agoWe went for their Easter egg hunt event. They had a separate area for kids under 3, which was nice. The only problem is the eggs were full of stuff you should never give a child under 3. Mostly small toys that are choking hazards. Also, they were playing ABCDEFU by Gayle, which isn't exactly child appropriate. lol. Still, would go back, but maybe in like another year or so when my daughter is a little older. For under 3 you're better off going to a park.

4 months agoI read the reviews before bringing my 5 year old there and it sounded like a great place. I usually do not write negative reviews as I am a business owner myself, but I was quite disappointed with the lack of cleanliness. There was food crumbs and smudges all over the tables and booths, there was garbage on the fire alarm, on the floor and within the play areas. The only hand dryer that worked was in the men's room (mind you I am a women and asked to be escorted in there to dry my kid off from the water table). There were large cobwebs hanging on the walls. My kid had a good time, as they are oblivious to things like that, but as a parent I had to discourage him from playing in certain areas. He did mention there was not much to do. He did love the water table, but the smocks were for smaller kids and he was soaked after. Tip: Make sure you bring extra clothes with you. Just a few tweaks and this place could be great.
