a week agoFirst time going. Stuart Little was a great show, wife and kid had a great time. Poor review is due to ushers and management. We paid full price for 2 tickets in March off the website. When they showed up today the theatre was packed due to schools (no problem there at all). When leaving, the school children were instructed to bypass the restrooms and after waiting for them to depart the theatre, my wife and son were rudely told they could not use the restroom. After explaining they were not with the schools the ushers huffed and puffed and finally let her and my child use them. Then the manager(said he was management but doubtful due to his condescending attitude) actually told my wife that she probably got discounted tickets for the show, as if that had anything to do with not using the restroom? Huh? Maybe the paying customers don't deserve to use the facilities of the establishment they are patrons of if it inconveniences the workers?

2 months agoI had the pleasure of seeing Cabaret here last week and I was stunned. The seating was really cool where they had the lowest seats as though they were a part of the show within the show. Although I did not have these seats, I still appreciate the fact that they did this, breaking the forth wall. I was tempted to see this musical again, but I passed on the idea. The actors were amazing and the whole entire venue was made to look like the club from the story. I will absolutely look forward to more shows at Orlando Shakes. Thank you for existing.

3 years agoWe had a day to plan out while we were visiting Orlando and we saw a there was a scheduled performance here of Shakespeare’s Much ado About Nothing. With tickets available, we booked ‘em and got excited. We weren’t let down. This theater; the staff, building, the stage, and performers, are all amazing. What a great show and a great experience that we’ll soon not forget. If we return to Orlando, we’ll gladly return for another show. Bravo to all of you for all the great things you’re doing here!

5 months agoWhat a hidden gem of a theater, I am always surprised it is not super crowded each show. I have held season tickets the past few years and greatly enjoy each performance. Shakespeare is timeless and the actors are awe inspiring as well. A must see experience! 🙌

a year agoThis was my second time attending Orlando Shakes. First time was Hamlet, tonight A Christmas Carol. I must say all the actors were marvelous. Good rendition to this play. Definitely recommend it. Good for a date night or solo night. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms are clean.
