11 months agoOur rental experience was exemplary. Pleasant staff and owner, equipment was clean and in good condition with easy to understand instructions. Entrance is tucked away on Lakeshore Blvd with a connecting gate to the Curtis Johnson boat ramp.

2 years agoAwesome experience! The staff here are very nice and well patiently guide you through the do's and don'ts for a new kayaker. What a beautiful area as well! Will definitely be back!

2 years agoThese guys are super nice, and have lots of options for rentals and purchases. I’m newer to kayaking and they were very helpful, the ride up towards the river was beautiful!!

2 years agoWhy is there a picture of a pool table on Ortega Outdoors? Because the owner of Ortega Outdoors owns the vrbo on the same property! We had the pleasure of staying there for three days and Tyler includes 1 free kayaking rental for each person. Now you do the math: just the free kayaking for a family of 6 was valued at what we paid for the vrbo stay. WIN-WIN! The place was comfortable with 3 queen bedrooms AND this awesome billiard room. So many memories were made this week. p.s. He also discounts the jet ski rentals when you stay on property. And let me tell you, they are highly maintained and in excellent condition. This will definitely be a must-do for our family at least once a year.
