OWA Parks & Resort

The parks is always clean and neat. The staff is usual polite and welcoming. Some of these rides feel kind of rough. The staff gave us a hard time at the park entrance claiming that we requested a refund before we arrived at the park. While speaking with the lady at the window, she asked my wife to check her personal email on her phone for a confirmed refund. My wife explained to her that we never at anytime request for a refund. My wife checked her email anyway and confirmed that there was no email of the like. The lady at the window then asked to see her email. My wife showed the lady her phone when the lady grabbed my wife phone from her hand without permission and went through her personal emailed containing financial and federal content. Honestly this interaction upset me pretty bad. This same lady was not polite and was treating us in a very rushed way as if there was a long line behind us, and there wasn’t. I do not recommend buying tickets in advance due to the issue we experienced at the gate with this rude lady. A different lady came and assisted us and was able to resolve the issue. She discovered the the previous rude lady was looking into another person transaction instead of ours. Problem solved. I doubt we return to this park.

We had a good time. Really enjoyed the dog trick show. There is plenty of parking with handicapped spots near the front. We went for the Balloon Festival. The balloons don't take flight till the evening. There was lots to do. Admission is reasonable. Food was good with a very wide selection. Staff was very friendly. I recommend wearing sneakers because the place is huge with stuff to do everywhere. Was a good time.

My first time going for a day trip with family. And it was definitely worth the price and my kids enjoyed it.

This place is worth a visit once. It has a a few water slides quite less and smaller compared to other similar parks for that cost. If your visit is during peak season and had to wait long times then there are better parks to try. For is there was almost no crowd so it was worth it. Outdoor rides is interesting for individuals over 48". They were slightly different from other parks, especially crazy mouse which our kids really loved. It would be good to have a few more rides like that. Very well maintained everywhere. I was impressed with how seriously they take safety. Food is somewhat expensive for the quality. Even the restaurants outside the ticketed are very expensive. Overall, worth the money if the visit is during off peak time, where you can take each ride a few times without much wait. If there is a long wait time for the rides then probably not worth it.

The shows at OWA are always a great experience. David and I enjoyed the “Love Me Tender:Elvis Valentine’s Show” by Shane Tucker. He is a great entertainer who involves the audience.
