This was one of the options for the Seattle CityPass, and we decided to go check it out! It was a really fun experience, and the campus is pretty large. They have several buildings with different things in them. We came here around 3:30 pm- we wanted to come earlier but something came up. We ended up missing a lot of the cool programs like the planetarium and the laser dome. Many of the exhibits were interactive and very interesting. I think the coolest exhibit was the tropical butterfly house. They have an area to put your belongings in before stepping inside. They are very careful about making sure the butterflies are safe! It was so cool to see them up close. They also had an area of the ones that are emerging out of their cocoons. When we went, they did not have a robust gift shop, but a little stand with some merchandise. The people working the information desk were extremely friendly and helpful. This experience was so cool! I can imagine that this is especially cool for kids. I went with my partner, and we are both 24 years old. We had a blast, so I think anyone at any age would have a great time here.

Wow! I'd live there! Amazing entertainment for kids of any age and adults. So many activities! The only regret was about missing their laser show. FYI. it's for particular time only. When we came to the door it was too late already. But seriously kids were so happy touching and trying everything. Botanical garden with tropical butterflies was so exciting to walk around. We didn't want to leave and had this feeling that we had no enough time to enjoy in full. Even forgpt to make pictures. And additional bonus was free public transportation tickets back and forth with admission tickets. Must see place! And return again later. Buy tickets online to save time and avoid long line.

The good: A lot of care and creativity clearly went into crafting an immersive learning environment for kids. The center is huge; definitely more than a family can fully explore in a single day. Special events add great educational value, and the dome theater is a definite highlight, as are the (many) hands-on activities. The butterfly sanctum was a person favorite. The bad: Admission prices are on the high side, and the exhibits can get quite crowded. Some parts of the facility feel worn down, with a few things out of order. Staff presence is minimal, and we didn’t notice any visible security. There were a lot of "rogue kids" running around and harassing other children who were on their own. For a multitude of reasons, parents should keep an eye on their children at the Center. The restrooms were clean and in good order.

We love the science center! Their exhibits are great, the entire place is so kid friendly. We especially love the butterfly exhibit, the touch tank, and the space exhibit! I only wish that they opened the second main entrance again, so that you could enter by their attached parking garage. Or at least fix the elevator in the parking garage. It does make it difficult to get from the garage to the entrance, having to go all the way around and uphill with a stroller for the kiddos. Otherwise, we love the science center and can’t wait to go back.

We had a great day at the Pacific Science Center. All the exhibits are so fun and the kids loved it all. They have something for everyone. Science, Dinosaurs, Butterflies, Building, Music and so much more. A few things I would note: - Getting in was the worse part. There should be a line or entrance for tickets purchased online or if you have a membership. The line was so slow…then left for lunch and had to wait in line again just for reentry. Poorly organized. -3D Shows don’t have kids glasses. Strange considering it’s mostly kids in the museum. I wouldn’t bother taking kids 6 and under to it since they don’t fit and just watch a blurry show. -Avoid the winter laser shower…other than a couple songs that have winter in words there was nothing winter about it. It was more like a rave. Enjoyable but not what I was expecting.
