a year agoGreat staff and a wonderful place for a paddle. Secret hint: check your local library for availability of free passes for up to 4 people. Equipment is all in good condition

6 years agoLOVE!! Crazy to be so close to the highway, but be somewhere so peaceful! Busy summer weekends can be tough for parking but space is available at the old hospital. Plan ahead, arrive early & enjoy the day!

4 years agoThis review is written during the COVID-19 pandemic (August 2020). The safety precautions Boating in Boston at Spot Pond took to ensure our wellbeing and have as little interaction with other customers was impressive. This place has a great plan in place and I felt very comfortable signing in and getting my reserved kayak so I could enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon at Spot Pond. Super glad to have a place like this so close to home (Melrose, MA).

5 years agoThis place is great! Prices are reasonable, and the lake is brilliant! Just go there, grab a canoe or kayak and see for yourself. It's worth it
