Best experience ever! Shawn was an amazing tour guide. All of the staff were very friendly and great people. I would recommend to everyone regardless of skill level. Cannot wait to get out again! P.s we saw a beaver, turtles, alligator gar, bats, a barn owl, and plenty of fish

Had an amazing date night with my love! Shawn was an incredible tour guide laidback, chill, and passionate about the water. We are definitely coming back. Was an amazing way to spend a Saturday night with the love of my life! Thank you so much Paddle SMTX for allowing us to make amazing memories. Only down side was that we didn’t see any mermaids but we saw some cool fish, heard some cool bats and owls.

We selected Paddle SMTX because of the 5 ⭐️ rating and number of reviews; it was the BEST CHOICE! As soon as my group approached the van, Leah kindly greeted us and gave us our life jackets and paddles. Leah has such a calming voice and chill vibe. It was awesome it met by such friendly people. Martin, our guide, gave us a quick kayak 101 class then we boarded our see-through bottom kayaks for the trip. The trip down the river was calming, beautiful, and fun! The trip back up the river, we paused 3x for Martin to share his knowledge of ecology, history, and much more. This is a must do activity! Amazing experience all around and great for beginners. We will definitely be back to do this again.

Aloha My wife found this hidden Gem for us. We were in the Austin area for a work related trip, and activities were limited for night excursions. We were blown away by the beauty, and calming energy of this unique place. It is something out of a fairy tale. We had the opportunity to have Martin as our guide. He was a true pioneer!!! He navigated us like the expert that he is. His knowledge on the river was easily understood, and we felt like this adventure would become a forever memory of Texas. Totally incredible experience. I had a fantastic time on one of the nighttime glowing kayak tours with this group. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and listening to his passion for taking care of the San Marcos River was really special. Would totally go with this group again!
