8 months agoGood place to walk, there are protected areas where you can see flowers. I don't like that some people who are with their dogs don't take their dog waste bags with them. You can go to a delimited area where you can't take your dogs because it is for Mountain Bikes.

a week agoJust an awful experience. My dog was almost bit by two different dogs, owners didn’t even care until I spoke up and told them to get their dog, they gave me attitude like their dogs didn’t just try to attack my dog. Dogs running around with no leash, barking, growling, and being aggressive and some wouldn’t leave my dog alone. Owners were clueless, too busy with their headphones on, on their phone or talking. Nothing against the park, but the owners/dogs completely ruined it for us and we will never return. If your dog isn’t trained, doesn’t listen to your recall, and is aggressive, please keep it on a leash.

2 years agomy favorite place to take my babies! we love this park because they can be off leash safely. :) it can be stinky because of the dog poo, just watch your step and hold your breath! parley’s creek is really high because of the snow melt, be very careful with your pups and little ones near the water.

3 years agoThis place is a great hike for family and your dog. If your dog is friendly off leash is allowed and there are two spots for them to play in the water, grab a drink and cool down. I will definitely be bringing my boy back

6 months agoA Hidden Gem for Nature Lovers - Parley’s Historic Nature Park Parley’s Historic Nature Park is a beautiful escape tucked away in the city, offering a unique blend of natural landscapes and historical charm. This spacious park has something for everyone, from hiking trails and open fields to a peaceful creek that runs through the area. The trails vary in difficulty, so there’s something for both leisurely walkers and more serious hikers. Along the way, interpretive signs offer a glimpse into the park’s history, which adds a meaningful layer to the experience. One of the highlights of Parley’s is its dog-friendly policy. Unlike some other parks, Parley’s allows dogs off-leash in designated areas, making it an absolute favorite for dog owners. The creek is especially popular with dogs on warm days, as they can splash and play, adding a lively vibe to the park. The park is well-maintained, though certain areas could benefit from additional signage to help visitors navigate the trails more easily. Additionally, there are few amenities here, so bringing your own water and snacks is a good idea. Despite these minor issues, Parley’s Historic Nature Park is an ideal destination for a relaxing day outdoors, with its beautiful scenery, historical significance, and dog-friendly policies giving it a well-deserved 4-star rating.
