Awesome annual fair the Delta, always the last Sunday in July! (Although it is Saturday and Sunday this year for the 50th annual celebration) Get there early for the famous pancake breakfast and stay for the pie eating contest. There’s a kids area with face painting, petting zoo, and other fun activities. As well as pear ciders and cocktails for the adults, live music tons of food vendors, crafts and delta history. Not a bad way to spend your Sunday! Ps. Parking is $20 but there is no cost to get into the fair.

So good to see it's return. The Annual Pear Fair has a great country charm and everything pears. Pear pie, pear ice cream, and pear cider along with many other fair favorites. Entertainment, duck call contests, music, parade, race, exhibits, craft vendors, etc. gives something for everyone. Always the last Sunday in July.

Firstly the $20 cost to park was too much. Then when we went home, we were directed to exit on dirt roads, unbelievable! We observed that the gate keeper was selecting people and allow them to exit on the pavement. This road is for trucks and 4 wheel drive vehicles. It was dusty, dirty and not healthy. Shame on the organizers and the gate keepers. Last time I take my family to this fair.

We go every year for the live bands, outstanding pear foods, and the kids' duck calling. My 1st stop is always the plant sale. Wonderful that the proceeds go to scholarships. Prices are cheap, and the women are very knowledgeable. Can't wait for next year's 50th! We went and once again loved the hometown feeling.
