Granddaughter enjoyed ever minute. She also feed the giraffes lettuce, they come up that close. I didn't know how long a giraffe tongue was, my Granddaughter was very surprised as well, they can reach several inches from their mouth. The experience of a lifetime.

We have a Dallas Zoo Membership because we live closer to Dallas. We were able to use our Dallas membership to receive discounted tickets ( $10 per adult). We hadn't been to the Ft Worth Zoo in a long time. They have really made it a beautiful Zoo. Baby flamingos, a baby elephant, touching sea creatures, a lot of interactive stuff for the kiddos. VERY impressed. We will be back!!!

Great Zoo, animals looked fed, in good health and moving around well. Lot's of shade, cool breezes, places to sit. Saw several people in electric carts and wheel chairs and got through the zoo fairly easy.

Very expensive, Wednesdays are good because it's half price. We did the train ride. We sat on the train ride for 5-10 mins and it was over. For $4 a person which I brought 4 of my kids so for $20 was not really worth it. I remember going to the zoo and it was affordable. $5 to park not bad. I bought my tickets online. Really recommended because I didn't have to wait in long ticket line. Lots of places to eat. Access to public and family restrooms. Not many animals were there but the ones that were there were very active which made it very entertaining. Park was clean workers were helpful. The weather was nice so we had a good time. It closed at 5pm we arrived at 1pm with enough time to sit down and eat and see all the animals.

It is a great place to get up close to some of the animals. Highly recommend the experience, whether you have small children or not!
