a week agoLove this zoo! Any staff I interacted with were friendly and extremely knowledgeable. So happy I was able to feed a giraffe for a low price. I also enjoyed the barn area where you can pet the goats for free. The zoo is very clean! lots of places to sit and eat.

2 weeks agoThe whole family loved this zoo! It was really busy with all the school trips, but we did not have any issues. My 14 yr old who is very difficult to please these days even loved it. We made a lot of memories here!

a month agoCame here yesterday for a birthday great experience overall. The recent reviews about the construction scared me but I feel they were misleading. I saw every animal I came to see only ones missing were the bears the lemurs and some of the birds which didn’t bother me. It’s way less construction going on there than I thought. When entering you go through a medal detector a 1st for me at any zoo but at least you know you will be safe. Tickets were bought in advance definitely recommend. Zoo wasn’t crowded per say but lots of school trips was there in the morning. By 2pm zoo was pretty empty. Great zoo over all lots to see very clean bathroom staff was great. Gorilla exhibit and the tiger was probably the best part. Wouldn’t advise getting food there being a bottle of water is $5 hot dog is $7 everything had a minimum of $6. You can also bring your own food and drinks in which is great. May come back once the bear enclosure is complete looks like it’s gonna be really nice. Highly recommend going here best zoo I’ve been to definitely made me enjoy my birthday.

3 weeks agoI went with 4 of my children and we only had about an hour and 40 minutes. We went through the reptile and amphibian houses and the rare mammal house. We went through the primate pavilion and big cat falls. We all had a blast! The animals were amazing! The lion and tiger put on a show! The baby monkey was a favorite. The different frogs, toads, and snakes had our full attention. Terrific day and we will be back for a longer visit!

a week agoGreat for a weekend. Get the annual pass. It pays for itself after 2 visits. My almost 2 year-old lovgiraffes. We brought sandwiches and had a picnic in one of the tables near the jiraffes.
