a year agoGreat little trail, no big elevation at the beginning but a bit hot and no shade until you reach the water. Maybe it's cooler in March. It takes about an hour to reach the creek water, then the trail alongside the water is great. We don't have enough power to go to the end. The parking lot was pretty empty when we reached about 2pm. Some one said the whole round trip is about 4 hours. No bathroom so go party in the wild. The saguaro is great all across the mountain. Creek taste not bad at the upper part.

a year agoA new favorite! Amazing spot to watch the sunset if you’re quick enough to leave bc signage states this park closes after sunset. The trail is a bit steep and rocky in some parts, flat and easy in others. It’s fun :) This is a residential area so at first you see lots of houses but views improve. I would love to return to this trail when I have more time.

a year agoCool place to hike! You can make it as easy or as difficult as you would like as the front section is a casual meander along the creek and the back is a more difficult section that will lead up to the top of Kimball. The paved lot is free and space is limited!

2 years agoThis trail was sooooooo pretty! The views were absolutely breathtaking with the different sun angles & vantage points. No dogs allowed. The trail is not level, lots of rocks & a little bit of climbing. I highly recommend good boots, lots of water, snacks, hat & sunscreen. There is a lot of parking. Watch put for snakes please 🙏

a year agoVery challenging and long trail. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: the trail is not marked (other than the start). We lost the trail many times when we crossed the water bed. Make sure to have a map or GPS phone to help you get back on it. We went 5 miles out but there was no overlook. Not sure if you go further it does lead to a peak. Very pretty canyon overall.
