a week agoBeautiful and decently sized Japanese garden with koi ponds, zen gardens, waterfalls, bonsai trees, and Japanese history. Must purchase an admission ticket or be a member for entrance. There is a very cute gift shop and cafe serving tea and snacks at the top of the hill. Parking close by is limited and crowded, even with a garden admission ticket, so arrive early to get a close by parking spot or you’ll have to walk a far ways up a hilly road.

a week agoBeautiful scenery, plenty of places to sit and rest. Little waterfalls, and plenty of shade. There are stairs, and in the beginning you are walking a fair ways uphill on pavement so if you are currently injured....take breaks, but even on crutches you will enjoy this place.

a month agoIt's a beautiful, small-ish garden, with a lot of truly awesome sights and incredibly well-managed. It is also pretty small, perhaps taking one-to-two hours to walk through. At the current ticket price of $21 dollars a person (plus parking), it's quite the investment to visit. If you really enjoy Japanese gardens, this may be the best one stateside. Just not cheap.

in the last weekI thought it was overpriced at first, but the garden is very well manicured and the staff is friendly and available. It is a nice get away inside the city, perfect for a mini vacation or quick sight seeing. Parking is a challenge and slightly frustrating, but you can find a nice spot to meditate and decompress once you get inside the garden :)

4 weeks agoSmaller than expected. A nice climb and very easy to walk with kids. Parking lot is small and spaces are limited. You must download an app to pay for parking. Beautiful gardens and a koi pond with a small waterfall. There is a cafe that was very crowded, a gift shop and two bathrooms.
