Pump It Up Overland Park Kids Birthdays and More

My niece threw her daughter's first birthday party there today. We were not sure how many kids would actually show up to order the pizza. So my niece was told she could do that the day of the party. I was like cool. Since I was paying for the food. So when she tried to order the pizza low and behold she was told she couldn't do it. First off y'all too high priced from jump. But if someone wants to order some pizza then let them order the pizza. Kids sitting there forever and getting some cake to eat and some hard ice cream. Then you said come no earlier than 15 min to set up. Then we still had to wait forever. Cutting into the time that should have been spent with the birthday girl. I came from out of town to be with them and this was really just not cool. I'm glad my great niece is 1 and didn't know the behind the scene chaos. Her mom was very upset, almost in tears. My grandson was there and enjoyed playing. That was the best part of it all. But if you tell someone something then own up to it. I'm so sorry Destiny Huey that you had to endure this. You tried to make everything perfect for a Berry 1st birthday party for your one and only child.

So easy to book my son's birthday! Week of they walked me through everything and helped complete the final details. Day of was a breeze, from checking in to the actual party to set up everything was taken care of. Kids played hard and had a blast.

We had my son’s birthday party at Pump It Up(this was our 3rd time celebrating my kids birthday at Pump It Up) and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, ensuring everyone felt right at home. The venue itself was perfectly tailored for kids of all ages (they have a toddler area too so my daughter(1 year old) was entrained as well). The activities were engaging and well-organized, keeping the kids entertained throughout the event. My son loved his party and it was great to see everyone laughing and having fun. We had a chance to meet the owner who assisted us throughout the party. He was very friendly and made sure everything was top noch. He offered us to play a “tug of war” (parents against kiddos) which was a very fun experience for everyone! Overall, Pump It Up exceeded all expectations. It’s a perfect spot for any child’s celebration, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! We’ll definitely be back for future birthdays!

We had a great time at the birthday party we went to today. However, the employee who seemed to be one of our “hosts” didn’t have any personality and didn’t specify what we were to do when it came time to go in to the rooms. I didn’t know if it was the right birthday party group or what… But the facility is VERY clean and safe for all kids and even smaller siblings. Party rooms are very spacious, too! But, another party host was handing out pizza with a glove on…but then proceeded to hand out cupcakes 20 minutes later with no glove and running his hand through his hair multiple times 😑. Regardless of no clear instruction on signing in/filling out a waiver and the no gloves…this place is a really fun and clean place to have a birthday party.

The place was awesome, so clean and organized! The staff were super friendly, and it was such a great birthday party. I'd totally recommend it. My son just turned three.
