Railroad Park Playground

Great park for a picnic, bringing the kids or solo exercising. There was a good amount of people enjoying the space and a little park just for kids to play. I wish there would have been a few more items in the kids area but overall great spot!

Wonderful large green space and urban oasis in the middle of Bham. Clean and well maintained. Nice little playground/climbing structures that toddlers and older kids can navigate with ease. The restrooms were as clean as a public restroom can get. Cute little goldfish amd duck filled lake. My kids and I loved our visit. Plenty to do, see and walk around. Especially if you love trains.. they roll right by, close and slow enough to ask the engineer if he'll toot his horn. They always do. If we lived closer we'd visit this park more often. As is, anytime we're in town and have the time, we'll swing by for a visit. My only complaint is about the seesaw in the playground. One of the springs on the end is broken. It is still somewhat functional but it's only a matter of time until someone heavy gets on it, breaks it and possibly injures themselves.

Loved this park. Close to shops. Lots of walking space. Water ways. Very pretty perfect for picnics and pictures.
