Recbar

Looks can be deceiving. Poorly lit from the outside not really inviting at a glance. Exactly what it should be inside - a really great time. Staff from entrance to exit were friendly and helpful. Place was packed on a Sunday evening, mostly couples and families, some kids. Tons of space for eating. So many games that you don't really have to wait long to get something you want or to go to another choice. All the 80's and 90's classics and the standard skill games. Would be great for an afternoon or evening hang. This is a great alternative to the slick challenge arcades and high end mall entertainment. Was shocked to see not a single game 'out of order'. This place is very well managed and the team has the right approach to guests, highly recommend for something to do any night of the week. We almost didn't go in because the lot was packed and the lack of light made it look sketchy. Very glad we took a chance - we will be back. They have a great menu and every tot known to mankind. Great soundtrack as well, you won't regret a visit to Recbar!

Recbar is a great place to go if you want to play some old school arcade machines and pinball. There are as many pinball machines as actual arcade machines, so definitely a place to visit if you love pinball. Recbar even has tournaments and/or leagues. They also have one of my favorite games, Ice Cold Beer! I mean an actually game, not actual beer but they do have that as well lol. The food is good, I really enjoyed the burger I got. Service is very good and quick. Pro tip, they have a token machine but they will also exchange for money for tokens at the bar as well.

The food was okay, about what you would expect from an elevated bar menu. The dish names are original. But we didn't come for 5 star food. We came for the tons of pinball games. The service was good and the drinks were poured stiff.

We have been to Rec Bar many times so when family from out of town were visiting, we thought this would be a fun place to go after a baseball game on a Wednesday evening. When we went in, the "hostess" was not very pleasant and never greeted us. She simply asked if we wanted a table, which I thought was a little weird. I told her we had a party of 11 and she said she would have to put us on the waitlist. I asked how long it would be and she said she didn't know, but we were the 1st people on the list. It was a little before 7:30 when we first entered. We bought tokens and everyone played. After 30 minutes, still no update. I could hear a trivia game happening so I asked the "hostess" if we were going to have to wait until it was over to be seated. She was dismissive and very rude, all while she ate and talked to other employees at the hostess station. Again, she said she didn't know, but that the game was over around 9, which was not helpful at all, and who wants to wait around for 1.5hours?!?!? On a school night?!?!?! With great grandparents with us!!! That's why I asked about the wait time yo begin with. There was an entire section of seats that they said was for private parties only that they could have just sat us in if they cared to be accommodating. We asked to speak to the manager and when he came out, he was just as dismissive and rude. He didn't care if we left and went somewhere else at all or that his staff were rude and unprofessional. He was making excuses and brushing us off and acting like we were troubling him. I run a tour company and I teach college students so I will be sure to never recommend Rec Bar to anyone again. My household is a family of 6 and we frequently go out to eat with relatives and friends and it's a shame that we will NEVER spend money here again.

Wonderful eatery burgers adult beverage and all the games for kiddos 😀
