Parents praise its 'breathtaking' natural views of redrock and distant mountains, which contribute to a picturesque environment. The combination of water features and abundant greenery provides a noticeably cooler temperature, making it an appealing option for outdoor play, especially during hot summer days.

Key Highlights

  • Kids consistently report having a 'blast' and 'love this water park and park area,' indicating high child enjoyment.

  • The presence of water features and grass actively contributes to a 'cooler temperature,' enhancing outdoor enjoyment during summer.
  • Provides 'plenty of space' for children to play and explore freely.

Standout Features

  • Breathtaking natural views of redrock and distant mountains.

Ideal For

Families seeking an outdoor park experience with a water feature and significant green space in a hot, arid region.
Parents looking for a scenic backdrop for playtime, including impressive views and sunset opportunities.
Summer outings where a cooler environment is desired for kids.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • **Manage expectations for cleanliness:** Be prepared to encounter litter and debris, especially around the splash pad drains and general park areas.
  • **Supervise young children closely:** Due to reported litter and dog poop, parents with toddlers who explore by hand will need extra vigilance.
  • **Leverage for summer relief:** Utilize the water features and grass areas to help children stay cooler during hot summer days.
  • **Consider alternative park areas:** If planning to use sports fields, be aware of poor maintenance and potential safety hazards.

Things to Consider

  • Frequent issues with 'lots of trash and litter' are reported throughout the park, which is a significant deterrent for many visitors.
  • The splash pad area specifically can accumulate 'leaves and garbage' near drains, which may require clearing for optimal enjoyment.
  • Other park facilities (e.g., sports fields) are poorly maintained, described as 'chewed up and full of rocks,' with 'dog poop everywhere,' and dangerous equipment (e.g., 'plate was raised up over an inch of the dirt line' on a softball field).

My kids love this water park and park area. Plenty of space and beautiful view. I give 4 stars because I noticed a lot of the time we visit there is lots of trash and litter. I would think for this area they would keep up on that but they don't. It's a turn off when my youngest is constantly picking up random trash and bringing it over to me .

Field one was chewed up and full of rocks. Dog poop everywhere. Softball fields were miss measured, and bases could not be removed. Saying it's a softball field for fastpitch is a joke. Plate was raised up over an inch of the dirt line and was dangerous if slid upon. Pitching rubber was not centered. It was just hot garbage. The country should be ashamed of itself for having such an ugly setup at a brand new park. The splash pad was nice after the leaves and garbage were cleared away from the drains.

My favorite park to take my son. I love the large field of grass which surrounds the splash pad. A few trees are placed around the playground which I enjoy laying under on the grass and watching my son play. Very rare to find in Vegas since most parks are designed with desert scenery with rocks and bushes. The view is breathtaking from the west. Where you could see the mountains from the distance. The water and grass provide a cooler temperature so one could enjoy the summer days outside.
