2 months agoRedwood Grove Nature Preserve is a great spot for a short, family-friendly hike, perfect for small kids. The wooden walkway provides an easy and scenic stroll through majestic redwoods, making it accessible and enjoyable. The loop takes about 20-30 minutes, offering a peaceful nature break without a big time commitment. Parking is on the road nearby. Ideal for a quick, refreshing outdoor escape!

a month agoSmall, nice and quite a piece of preserved nature. Previously it was a property owned by Halsey family in early 1900s. They built a home here as an escape from the summertime fog in San Francisco. Then Emma Halsey transplanted dozens of redwood seedlings 🌱 from Santa Cruz Mountains. These redwoods remain here today. The City of Los Altos acquired this land in 1974 and designed the property as a nature preserve for visitors to enjoy solitude and natural beauty.

6 months agoThe stunning natural scenery is a must-see for travelers. The cool air enhances its charm, so it's advisable to bring a jacket as the temperature drops when you venture into the woods.

7 months agoNice place to go if you're looking for a calm nature spot with great sights, but not willing to commit to a full hike. Ample parking at the park next door, which has a trail that goes right to the grove, amd right across from the main street plaza.
