4 months ago2024.12.25 sunny 40s_F had a ~4.5 mi walk at the nearby (~10 mins drive) Reedy Creek Nature Preserve. Nice and clean, trails in good condition 👍 Encountered 5 friendly people and 1 dog while on the trails. A group playing Cricket (??) and another Baseball (??).

2 years agoWe love this place! Awesome hiking but find a route because there are some trials that go a long way. We love the house ruins from old gold miners! There is also a neat tree there for kids to climb! Kids will love this hiking place.

2 years agoWell, this nature center has everything for everyone. I mean literally everything. If you have kids, they have playgrounds, library, museums etc. if you want to run, you can easily make 10 plus beautiful miles, if you simply want to walk, aw! Gorgeous walking trails. Basketball, disc golf, volleyball, baseball you name it. Nice clean bathrooms and employees at the information center are very professional and friendly.

4 months agoWe rarely get on the trails since we find so much in the playground area alone! So much wildlife!

a year agoThis is a Really nice park. This plus isolated but at the same time feels very safe. It’s great to be able to get away from the city and have that mountain country feel. There is a mixture of gravel and paved trails. It’s unclear where you can and can’t ride bikes. We only walk jog this trail. It is odd how quickly 2 miles come I’ll while walking this treck. Along the way is ponds and stilling benches etc. I would recommended this for families. Plenty of parking.
