Love this place. Nice feeling of community and the lake is full of fun critters (turtles, beaver looking critters) Little park for kids and adults, and a basketball court. This is where we recycle too. Fun place to hike about.

As Harrisburg residents working from home, my wife and I have found Reedy Creek Park to be an exceptional retreat for our daily post-work walks. Located just a six-minute drive from our home, the park offers a serene environment that provides a refreshing change of scenery and a peaceful escape from our work routines. Upon entering the park, a brief eight-minute drive leads us to the parking area, situated deep within the park’s 125-acre expanse. This thoughtful design ensures that visitors are distanced from urban noise, allowing for a tranquil experience amidst nature.  The park’s extensive network of natural forest trails is a highlight for us. Each visit presents an opportunity to explore a new path, offering both variety and a sense of adventure. The well-maintained trails meander through diverse landscapes, providing a quiet and immersive experience that is both relaxing and invigorating. In addition to its trails, Reedy Creek Park boasts a variety of amenities catering to families and individuals alike. The expansive playground area is particularly noteworthy, featuring modern equipment that engages children in active play. A standout feature is the Carolina Panthers-themed Play 60 KidZone, which includes a running track and interactive elements designed to promote physical fitness among youth.  For those interested in picnicking or group gatherings, the park offers multiple shelters equipped with amenities such as charcoal grills, electrical outlets, and nearby restrooms.
