2 years agoAmazing place. Good for start or finish a floating on your kayak. Close to a parking lot. It has public restrooms and the nature is so beautiful. The only bad point, is full of trash. You can see the side of the river and the water full of beer cans and bottles. Is very sad. Please if you are planning to visit this place bring your trash back.

3 years agoBeautiful hike and a great place to launch for kayaking. Lesser used spot by students but makes a great camp out with a fire in the evening because of that. Best rushing and draining water sounds on the river, fun rocks to jump to and from. Natures playground for adults. Floods frequently so different spots may be inaccessible.

2 years agoIt is okay, the map takes you to the headquarters then says personel only. So my son and I will come back after research of where to start walking. We took pictures of the trail and of the baby fish or tadpoles near the ramp before the trail splits after the train tracks. I hope to come back with my bike and dog, my son enjoyed it!

8 months agoGreat park! I go here in fall to gather pawpaws, but it also has hiking trails to explore and a big rocky area by the river to enjoy. I hear they have a picnic area, but there are also plenty of little secluded spots by the river/tributary streams for a quieter and more reflective mealtime experience.
